Steven David Daines is an American entrepreneur and politician serving as the junior United States Senator from Montana since 2015. He previously was the U.S. Representative for Montana's at-large congressional district from 2013 to 2015. In the 2014 midterm election, he won an open seat, defeating Democrat Amanda Curtis.
